Learning beyond the classroom

Activities at Barakah

From the morning assembly to the farm, the karate mat and the skating rink — every activity is designed to build confidence, character and joyful learning.

Every morning
Morning assembly

A joyful, focused start to the day

Assembling students and teachers in one space before the school day begins is a powerful way to instil discipline and set a joyful, focused tone for the day.

Every morning the entire school gathers in the auditorium to recite the prayer and watch a short presentation by one class. Throughout the year, each class presents a programme on stage — themed on the festival being celebrated at that time, or a thought-provoking idea told through drama or a skit.

  • Duties for monitors & prefects
  • Talks on cleanliness & good manners

Activity based learning

Children are visual and active learners

Activity based learning (ABL) is an integral part of our pedagogy, facilitating permanent learning.

We provide ample opportunities for ABL throughout the lush green campus, for a lasting and joyful learning experience. Each activity is carefully designed to help students develop self-learning skills, so they can study and grow according to their own aptitude and skill level.
